The QIS-360 Robotic Pipeline Lining for Large-Diameter Infrastructure
Most spray-applied lining contractors are limited to hand application, which means variable thickness, application fatigue, and inconsistent coverage at a distance. QIS designed and operates the QIS-360 robotic application platform to solve this problem in large-diameter and long-run pipelines.
The QIS-360 is deployed inside the pipe on a carrier system, applying SprayWall™ HDPU at precise, controlled thickness over 60 to 180 metres in a single setup. Coverage is uniform, inspectable, and fully documented — meeting the quality expectations of major owners including BC Hydro, BC MoTI, and municipal utilities. This technology is not widely available. QIS is one of the very few certified applicators in Western Canada with this capability.
